We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially focused individual to join our team as the Commercial Time Management Analyst. This role is critical to optimising our billable percentages, ensuring accurate time tracking, and supporting project managers in making commercially sound decisions.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of our time recording system, Harvest, identify and resolve time-recording inaccuracies, and actively engage with team members to enforce better time management practices. With a strong financial and analytical background, you will also be responsible for producing insightful reports and management information (MI) that guide the business towards improved efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal product owner for the Harvest time recording system.
- Identify and address time-recording shortcomings and inaccuracies, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Proactively engage with team members to rectify time-recording mistakes and improve compliance.
- Support project managers by providing commercial insights into the progress and profitability of their projects.
- Monitor and analyse billable percentages and work with delivery teams to increase billable hours.
- Create, analyse, and distribute management information (MI) reports using Harvest data.
- Drive commercial awareness across the business, ensuring that all team members understand the financial impact of accurate timekeeping.
- Collaborate with finance and delivery teams to ensure that timekeeping directly contributes to profitability.
Requirements
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in time tracking, project management, or finance-related roles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to assertively demand better timekeeping practices and challenge inefficiencies.
- Experience with time-tracking systems (e.g., Harvest) or project management software is a plus.
- Commercially focused, with an understanding of how time management impacts profitability.
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to generate and present data-driven insights.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a role requiring financial literacy and commercial focus.
- Assertive personality with the ability to challenge team members on timekeeping and project managers on financial performance.
