We are seeking a dynamic Salesforce Account Director – Mid-Market & GB with a strong focus on business development. In this role, you will drive growth by identifying and developing new opportunities, building trusted relationships with mid-market clients, and expanding our footprint within the Salesforce ecosystem.


The ideal candidate brings proven experience in business development and Salesforce, particularly in mid-market sectors. You excel at identifying opportunities, understanding complex client challenges, and positioning Salesforce solutions as the answer. Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Mid-Market & GB segments at Salesforce through effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.
  • Build Comnexa’s relationships within the Mid-Market and GB teams in Salesforce’s UK office.
  • Identify the best Mid-market & GB strategy for a continuous collaboration with Salesforce, including working closely with Salesforce Account Executives to strengthen our position in the ecosystem
  • Drive growth by acquiring new clients and fostering strategic relationships to expand our client base.
  • Showcase the latest Salesforce updates and solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition that Comnexa brings to the table.
  • Independently develop and present compelling technical and commercial proposals to potential clients.
  • Develop a close relationship with your customers and organise regular follow-up meetings. 
  • Manage the entire sales process independently, from lead generation to closing deals, while maintaining accurate data in Salesforce.
  • Deliver demos to prospective clients where necessary and work in partnership with Salesforce to deliver a joined up presentation.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry through networking events, client meetings, and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate closely with the Comnexa’s Sales and Management team to align strategies, share insights, and maximise opportunities for new business development. 
  • Effectively convey Comnexa's distinctive approach and methodology to Salesforce stakeholders in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, Salesforce product updates, and competitive landscape to position Comnexa effectively in the market.
  • Represent Comnexa at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to promote the company and build brand awareness of Comnexa within Mid-market and GB teams at Salesforce.
  • Act as the relationship point and a trusted advisor between the customer and Comnexa’s team.
  • Participate in various client events and Salesforce events.


Requirements

  • It is essential to have at least 3+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem (experience as a Salesforce AE would be advantageous).  
  • The financial services industry and Consulting knowledge is advantageous.
  • Salesforce certifications would be advantageous.
  • +5 years within account management or business development. 
  • Understanding of the technology world and the Salesforce ecosystem. 
  • Relationship building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Mid-Market & GB business landscape, including common challenges and industry-specific needs.
  • Proactive mindset to drive growth.
